Born and raised in Michigan, David graduated from high school in Saginaw, Michigan and then attended Michigan State University, majoring in economics with a minor in history.
After graduating from MSU in 2006, David joined Goldman Sachs' Ferris fund, a high frequency hedge fund out of Atlanta, as a prop trader. At Ferris, David specialized in financial stocks and engaged in financial modeling, market-making, and statistical arbitrage.
David joined FinTech in 2008 where he manages electronic order flow of stocks, bonds and options, services and maintains proprietary systems, distributes research to FinTech customers, and is commissioner of the FinTech Fantasy Football League.
In his spare time he enjoys hiking, biking, and kayaking as well as cooking, reading, playing guitar, video games, and Detroit sports.
